Overall, this is a pretty good live-action translation from the original film. About 30 minutes too long though.
The songs and the music are definitely the highlight for me. I even enjoyed one of the few original songs.
Melissa McCarthy, as Ursula was terrific, but I did not think she was very menacing as she was in the animated film.
