A bigger and badder Denzel vehicle — both in scope and scale. I love the setting taking place in Italy but it was a LOT of subtitles to read.
Director Antoine Fuqua got a little lazy with some of the story mechanics that were glossed over.
Dakota Fanning was OK. I did enjoy seeing her on screen with Denzel again after ‘Man on Fire’ in 2004.
On the whole, a fine addition to the franchise. Better than the second one but nowhere near the first one for me.
