One thing that really struck me was how many shots of the New York City skyline — in particular — the two towers of the World Trade Center. Gave me chills over and over.
Jamie Foxx plays an annoying ex-con who won’t shut up but isn’t as funny as a Chris Tucker character.
This has a similar ‘Die Hard with a Vengeance’ vibe to it, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
The last 30 minutes are pretty great. Not a bad early film from director Antoine Fuqua.
