This was great! I took my 9yo and 7yo boys to it and they also enjoyed it!
The animation style is really striking — very scratchy and unfinished-looking but it felt fresh and worked really well.
The voice work from the teen turtles was the highlight. Listening to their shenanigans was really entertaining and I felt like it really added to the enjoyment of the film for me.
I did NOT enjoy Ice Cube’s dialog though. His performance was fine but I feel like he was miscast for that role and I found myself constantly wishing that character was voiced by someone else.
Both the score and soundtrack fit really nicely into the mood and tone.
