Dare I say this is better than ‘OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN’?!
More practical action. Car chases. Better effects. (More ridiculous plot but 🤫).
There’s a grittiness to the action that really builds from the first movie and there’s a REALLY awesome one shot that kicks off the third act.
I’ve always been a fan of Aaron Eckhart and I’m glad he got more screen time.
Gerard Butler’s character definitely seems to have more of a chip on his shoulder than the previous movie. He shows NO MERCY on the bad guys and sometimes uses brutal, Rambo-style tactics on his combat techniques. For a guy who has a bright family life ahead of him, he certainly seems to give no #%$@s.
