I’m really glad I went back and re-watched all eight of the previous Spider-Man movies along with Loki on Disney+ and then Doctor Strange.
This was one movie I was on full media blackout for. I wanted to avoid everything I could on the plot, trailers, posters, and even the casting. I stayed mostly in the dark and as a result, there were some incredibly satisfying moments for me during this movie.
This is definitely one of the darkest Spider-Man movies we’ve seen in the MCU — maybe ever.
This feels like a big turning point in the MCU to launch into many other stories and tie in some existing ones.
