Despite having seen this probably a dozen times, after each time I watch it, I feel like I need to go back again and immediately rewatch it to fully understand the complexity of the story.
There’s even a diagram on Wikipedia helping to explain the story! 🤯
Guy Pierce is really great in this role.
This further solidifies the brilliance of writer/director Christopher Nolan’s ability to tell a story and play with time continuity.
I remember seeing this for the first time with my brothers in the early 2000’s and thinking: “I have no idea what just happened but it was awesome!” Come to think of it, I still feel a little that way now 🤭.
I’m good with the story right up until the last 5-10 minutes and that’s where I feel myself squinting to try and keep up.
Nonetheless, it’s a favorite film of mine and one I’ll happily revisit.
