Out of all of the Rocky movies, I’ve probably seen this one the most. It’s one that I used to watch often with my dad and brothers growing up.
As with most of the Rocky movies, there is a terrific training montage in the harsh, Russian winter in this one!
The behind the scenes footage is fascinating to hear Sly Stallone reflecting back on how he choreographed the fights — he said they almost can’t do it quite like this any longer because audiences know too much and expect too much from a boxing match these days.
My 6yo son heard me cheering at the TV while the last fight was on and finished the movie with me 🥰.
