As with most films in the MCU, I went into this one willingly knowing as little as possible. I watched the first teaser trailer months ago but avoided everything else since.
The story was pretty different than I expected and it didn’t exactly click with me as much as I would have liked.
It had some great moments, including some jaw-dropping cameos, some great visuals, but overall, it seemed to land right in the middle of the MCU for me.
I think I could definitely see director Sam Rami’s influence here and there – this was way more violent and gruesome than I expected too.
At the close of the film, I can honestly say I have no idea what’s coming next in this story line. I guess that’s one positive about the multiverse in general – literally anything is possible.
I want to watch this again when it comes to VOD though.
