There is some terrific action sequences in this one! I also really appreciate the conflict between Tony Stark and Steve Rodgers that sets the foundation of what’s to come in Civil War.
While the idea of Ultron worked fine for me, I really don’t care for how the character was written. James Spader did the best he could with the material but I found Ultron to be annoying.
Looking back, I appreciate the time we got with Clint Barton’s family on his ranch. It definitely added weight to what happens in Infinity War and then with the events in Hawkeye.
The Vision and Wanda Maximoff also get introduced in a interesting way and they both finish this film with big stories coming up in future projects.
It may be the weakest of the Avengers films but it’s still pretty darn great!
