I haven’t seen this in a few years and thought it was about time for another rewatch.
What a terrific espionage thriller!
This was the first film I realized that Marvel Studios could make a legitimately great genre film. Now, they seemingly do it all the time.
There’s a lot to love about this movie: clearing the ship deck, the street ambush, the elevator, the bridge, and so many more.
This is the same film that the Russo brothers cut their teeth with Marvel Studios on and then ended up directing 4 of the best movies in the MCU.
