I am embarrassed to say Iām not familiar with David Lowery as a filmmaker so this was my first experience with any of his films.
I found this to be a very weird movie. I only saw the trailer once and knew nothing about the lore or source material on which the movie is based.Ā
That said, it has an epic, orchestral score and the sweeping landscapes are breathtaking!
The 1.85:1 aspect ratio filled my screen fully and it made for a terrific viewing experience.
